- Progressive walking, mobility, physique and strength plans
- Modifications for swelling, fatigue, sensitivity, or movement restrictions
- Guidance for returning to gym workouts, Pilates, yoga, or daily activity
- Check-ins to adjust the plan as your tolerance improves
FAQ
Common questions
Is this just manual lymphatic drainage?
No. MLD can be part of care, but Wendy can also provide physical therapist-led movement, rehab, and fitness planning for the pre- and post-procedure period.
When can I book after surgery?
Follow your surgeon’s instructions. If you have fever, infection, unusual pain, suspected clotting, or a new medical concern, check with your medical provider before booking.
Can I start before my procedure?
Yes. Pre-procedure planning can help you build strength, mobility, walking tolerance, and realistic expectations before your procedure, as long as the plan fits your provider’s guidance.
Do you treat medical lymphedema?
TI work exclusively with pre‑ and post‑procedure recovery and wellness clients focused on physique training. I do not provide care for individuals with a lymphedema diagnosis.
Where can I read more about MLD?
Helpful public resources include Cleveland Clinic and Cancer Research UK.
